DANCE CLASSES (adult-only)

Beginner Ballet: For adult dancer’s with elementary ballet experience or who require a serious refresher.  If you have never taken ballet before, please try Ballet 101, the 6-week workshop series first. *wear ballet slippers and form fitting attire, leotards and tights are welcome but not required*

Intermediate Ballet: For adult dancer’s with ballet experience.  Appropriate for those who used to take ballet pre-professionally, in college, or have extended experience elsewhere.  For those looking to get back into the craft of Ballet. *wear ballet slippers and form fitting attire, leotards and tights are welcome but not required*

Contemporary Dance: For adult dancer’s who have a dance background, strong technique advised. Ability to turn and jump is required as well as retention for choreography.  For those dancer’s looking to get back into their craft. *please dance barefoot or with footsies*

Jazz Dance: For the adult dancer who has a dance background looking to get back into classical Jazz technique.  Ability to turn and jump is required as well as retention for choreography.  For those adult dancers looking to get back into their craft.  *please dance barefoot or with jazz shoes* (NOT currently on schedule, e-mail studio if interested).

Beginner Tap Dance: Open class is for those with basic tap understanding.  This is a slow paced class for the beginner or those who need a serious refresher in tap. Appropriate if you have completed Tap 101 series. If you are new to tap, please check out the TAP 101 WORKSHOP SERIES *please bring your own tap shoes*

Intermediate Tap Dance: Open class is for those with tap experience who understand the basic steps and have confidence in a moderately paced class; if you are new to tap or a beginner please check out the TAP 101 or 201 WORKSHOP SERIES *please bring your own tap shoes*

Foxy Dance (beginner jazz): A fun and sensual dance class performed with lights dimmed where dancers learn a combo and then get to perfect it before the evening is over!  Let your hair down and come play! Appropriate for those with min-moderate dance experience and is a good transition class for those wishing to try out dance classes. Appropriate for beginners!

Bellydance: with instructor, Kaylin. Class will consist of warm up, technique, choreography, shimmy drills and a cool down. Open to all dance levels!

DANCE WORKSHOPS

Tap 101 WORKSHOPS: 6 week INTRO TO TAP WORKSHOP for anyone interested in learning Tap or any dancer who needs a serious refresher. Class is taught as a series in 6 weeks as each class builds off of the next. NO make-ups allowed; however appropriate if a class is missed to attend next scheduled class. *Tap shoes required*

Tap 201 WORKSHOPS: 6 week continuation of Tap 101 series or for any beginner tap dancer who needs a slower paced tap class as compared to the regular drop in Tap class on Monday evenings.  Workshop is appropriate to take multiple times. *Tap shoes required*

Ballet 101 WORKSHOPS: 6 week INTRO TO BALLET WORKSHOP for anyone interested in learning ballet or any dancer who needs a serious refresher. FITNESS CLASSES

Beginner Mat Pilates with Aroma: An introduction to Pilates on the mat.  Perfect for anyone who is new to Pilates or needs a refresher on the fundamentals.  Use of Young Living Aroma therapy throughout class for additional relaxation. *appropriate for all levels* wear non-slip socks or go barefoot, bring yoga mat or rent one

Beginner- Intermediate Mat Pilates: Mat Pilates class which transitions between the fundamentals of classical Pilates to the introduction of more complex series and exercises. More attention is given to teaching how to do the advanced exercises than during the traditional Intermediate Pilates class. *appropriate for those with Pilates experience or have taken beginner mat classes at the studio* wear non-slip socks or go barefoot, bring yoga mat or rent one

Intermediate Mat Pilates: An intermediate level mat Pilates class for those who understand the basic principles of Pilates as taught in the beginner classes.  Class is faster paced and utilizes more challenging sequences and exercises.  *appropriate for advanced movers* wear non-slip socks or go barefoot, bring yoga mat or rent one

Barre : pulse, tuck, and tone your way to a sculpted body using the traditional ballet barre; high repetition, low intensity exercises. *appropriate for all levels* wear non-slip socks or go barefoot, bring yoga mat or rent one

Go-Glow (fusion fitness): Mix of Pilates, Strengthening, and Relaxation to get you ready for Friday and the weekend.  This class keeps you guessing, you never know exactly what type of class it is going to be as it changes week to week! Use of Young Living essential oils during the meditation series at the end of class. *appropriate for all levels* wear non-slip socks or go barefoot, bring yoga mat or rent one

Dancer Conditioning:  Fitness class geared towards dancers including general warm-up, core exercises, and stretching.  A great pre-ballet work out if you intend to take the Intermediate Ballet class which follows or appropriate for those who would like a condensed warm-up/workout. *appropriate for all levels* wear non-slip socks or go barefoot, bring yoga mat or rent one

Candlelight Deep Stretch: 45 minute stretch class with dimmed lighting to facilitate relaxation for deeper stretches and the use of props to increase your flexibility; perfect way to end your evening. *appropriate for all levels* wear non-slip socks or go barefoot, bring yoga mat or rent one

Cardio Dance:  A rhythmic dance class to get your heart rate up and work on on cardiovascular endurance! *Appropriate for all levels* wear non-slip socks or go barefoot (no street shoes allowed in studio) (Not currently on schedule, e-mail studio if interested)

A-Boot Camp: A condensed 45 minute, boot camp style work-out that will get your heart rate up and tone you from head to toe.  *appropriate for all levels* wear non-slip socks or go barefoot (no street shoes allowed in studio) (Not currently on schedule, e-mail studio if interested)

In-A-Hurry-30 ARMS: 30 minute compact class targeting the ARMS! *appropriate for all levels* wear non-slip socks or go barefoot (Not currently on schedule, e-mail studio if interested)

In-A-Hurry-30 CORE: 30 minute compact class targeting the CORE! *appropriate for all levels* wear non-slip socks or go barefoot (Not currently on schedule, e-mail studio if interested)
